nonunion n.(未加入工会，不属于工会)-----disunion(不统一，分裂)

unliving(无生命的)---nonliving(无生命的)

unpleasing(使人不愉快的)----displeasing(令人不愉快的)

mistrust(不信任的，怀疑)----distrust(不信任的，怀疑)

illogical(不合逻辑的，不合常理的)-----nonlogical(非逻辑的， 用逻辑以外的方法)

二．             其他否定形式

1)      not跟表示整体意义的词.如：all, always, both, every ( -body, -one, -thing, -where), each， whole, wholly, entirely, really, many, much, often 以及数词等连用, 表示部分否定。 如：

 All that glitters is not gold. 闪光的并非都是金子。

Both of them are not correct.并非他们两个都对。

Not many of them will go there.他们中间不是所有人都去那儿。

I have a few books, but not ten. 我有几本书，但不是10本。

He doesn’t need three pens. One will do. 他要不了三只笔， 一只足够了。

Our tents are not entirely new. 我们的帐篷不是全新的。

Your composition is not altogether bad, the spelling is good but grammar is poor. 你的作文不是一无是处， 拼写不错，但语法不灵

因此如果我们要说“他不吸烟也不喝酒”之类的话（全面否定，）应为He didn’t smoke or drink. 而非He didn’t smoke and drink.（他不吸烟但喝酒。）因为此句 可看作省略了both而构成了部分否定。值得注意的是无论是 “not + 全肯定词
