It was a cloudy Sunday afternoon. I sat quietly in a classroom, but  in a vague mood. When I raised my head up, my eyes were cast on a bare tree with few leaves left, waving in the chilly Autumn wind. This little sad scene was strongly reminiscent of my childhood.

    I used to live with my grandmother who loved planting flowers and trees in the yard. In the afternoon, she always read fairy tales to me under the  trees .   Our life was simple but full of  joy.   It seems I didn’t worry about anything. What a precious period! No amount of money or honor will change it back. Maybe that’s why I always can’t help but recalling my childhood, especially in depress. Because being grown-ups, we have to make decisions, to suffer from so much stress, and to avoid making mistakes. Being grown-ups, we have to take responsibility for our own behaviors, to lay groundwork for  the imaginary future, and to learn to be strong and tough after a failure. So many invisible things are forcing us to live in a sensible way instead of being controlled by emotion. Before every step we will take, we have to stop and think it over and over again until it seems we make the right decision. So overwhelmed, but we have  no choice that we have to make a choice . We are desperately and supremely tired.

   So, why not have a break? Why not do what we want to without a second thought? Why not ignore the word “sense” for a while? Why not cast our so-called responsibility for a moment? Why not?

    We are not restless machines, we know what rest or break means. Now, take a short break , without caring how time flies. Life itself is so simple that we can change it easily. As a result, we live a more sophisticated life. If we don’t stop for a rest, nobody knows into what form all the accumulated stress will burst. Take a rest, and you will see the sun shining, hear the birds chirping, and smell the fragrant flowers !
