Chinanews, Beijing, December 27 – According to the Chinese Billiards Association, a snooker training center of China will be built in Britain, funded by several enterprises. When completed, Chinese snooker players, including Ding Junhui, Liu Song, Tian Pengfei and Liang Wenbo, will be able to take their trainings in Britain. The training center will be completed in the first quarter of 2008. The national billiards team of China will be founded by then, too, and it will be a permanent team. As billiards is not an Olympic event, China has no official national billiards team at present. Now, 30 snookers and 9-ball players are having their winter training in Shanghai, 12 of whom will be selected as members of the national team.
