Chinanews, Chengdu, Dec. 28 – According to Chengdu Business News, Du Xiaohong, a 13-year-old girl in Changning, Sichuan Province was saved from leopards’ attack on Dec. 12. According to Du, at first she didn’t realize it was a leopard attacking her. Later when she saw it was two leopards, she ran and climbed onto a tree and stayed there until she was saved by her fellow villagers. Du’s aunt said that Du was so scared that she couldn’t say a word when the villagers came to her rescue. Dai Xiuwei, a leopard expert, said on Monday that it was a female leopard and her cub that Du had encountered.
