严格的讲，代词是代替名词的词，在句子中起名词的作用，可以做主语、宾语、表语 、同位语和呼语等。代词又可分为人称代词、物主代词、反身代词、相互代词、指示代词 、疑问代词、连接代词、关系代词和不定代词共9种。
我们知道，代词是一项非常重要的语法项目，在
高考中起着重要的作用。然而，直接
考查不定代词的频率最高，不定代词具有名词和形容词的性质，具有可数及不可数之别。
因此，在学习、复习及备考中，必须重视对代词尤其是不定代词的学习和研究。下面我结
合高考实例来与大家共同探讨一下不定代词的作用及运用。
不定代词可分为由body, one ,thing 构成的合成代词，如：somebody, anybody,
everybody, nobody; someone, everyone 和 something, everything, nothing 等；另一类是既可作代词又可作限定词的词，主要有all, any, none , another, other, both, each, either, neither, some, few, little, many, much 等。综观1988年以来的高考试题，主要考查不定代词在句中做主语、宾语和定语。

二者均表示单数可数名词，在句子中可做主语，宾语和定语。 none 代替三个或三个以上
的人或物，表示全部否定，代替不可数名词做主语时，谓语动词用单数形式，代替可数名
词做主语时，谓语动词单复数形式均可，在句子中可做主语或宾语。no one 代替可数名
词单数”没有人“，在句子中可做主语或宾语；no = not any 修饰可数名词或不可数
名词，在句中只作定语。
