The Miss China beauty
pageant sponsored by PhoenixTV lowered its curtain Saturday night in Hong Kong.
Li Shiqi from Malaysia was the big winner last night, who swept the Miss China title and also won the Miss Photogenic and Miss Talent awards, China Radio International reported Sunday.
Beijinger Yang Jie pocketed the first
runner-up while Yin Yue from Canada came in third.
Besides the dazzling candidates, many stars turned up to perform at the pageant, including Hong Kong pop singer Eason Chen and the music group Twelve Girls Band. The jury, as well, was made-up of famous personalities inlcuding the famed PhoenixTV hostess Wu Xiaoli and mainland veteran artist Liu Xiaoqing.
