Oscar-winning actor and director Kevin Costner has married his long-time girlfriend at a c
eremony held at his ranch in Aspen, Colorado.
The couple have been together for five years and announced their engagement in June 2003.
Costner was previously married to Cindy Silva, with whom he had three children, divorcing in 1994.
Guests, who included Oprah Winfrey, director Oliver Stone and Bruce Willis, were treated to activities including horse riding and baseball during the weekend festivities.
Costner took his new bride for a canoe ride on a lake following the ceremony.
The couple plan to honeymoon in Scotland.
Costner won a best director Oscar for Dances with Wolves, which also won best picture in 1991.
His last film outing was the western Open Range, which he also directed.
