Chinese tourists to Thailand will surpass 1 million next year, predicted Juthamas Siriwan, the governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
This year marked the 30th anniversary of establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations and in recent years the tourism exchanges of two nations developed rapidly, she said in Beijing Sunday.

She said that according to the long-term goal of two governments, the visitors to either nation will reach 4 million by 2009, following the rapid trade increase.
