The Gemini child is like the dual sign, both a blessing and a problem. They are talented youngsters, often showing very young, and ability to draw, dance, or play musical instruments. They do well in school, and have a natural aptitude for their studies. Teachers are satisfied, and the child presents no problem as long as his or her mind is occupied in school.
The Gemini child’s weaknesses are those of disposition. They are nervous, high-strung children who find it hard to capture repose. It is difficult for them to rest or sleep, and both are necessary for the health and well being of the child.
They are great little exaggerators and storytellers. Actually they themselves do not know where fact begins and fancy ends. They love acting, masquerading and all sorts of drama. It is wise for the parent to encourage play-acting, and to make clear at the same time that exaggerated story-telling belongs to the fairy tale world, and is distinctly an amusement, but has no part at all in the world of reality.
Also, the desire to chatter, so stimulating to these nervous children, had best be quietly curbed. This excited talk may appear “cute” in the tot, but later in the lie may develop into the practice of dangerous gossiping.
The Gemini child wearies of everything, and some effort should be made by the parent to develop appreciation of its property and possessions.
It this child is not affectionate, this can be overcome by tenderness and loving demonstrations from the parent to the child.
