China has edged out South Korea 4-3 for the third place at the Asian baseball championships.
It was the best-ever place China has reached at the annual tournament.
China, who stunned the Philippines 22-0 in an earlier match, has also qualified for September’s baseball World Cup.
Meanwhile, defending champion Japan went on to rout Chinese Taipei 11-2 to win their second straight title.
