England captain and Real Madrid star David Beckham is aiming to launch an Asian version of the David Beckham Academy by 2007.
Beckham was in the United States with the England national team for a friendly match.
During a news conference in Los Angeles to unveil plans for his California school, Beckham said he was looking at possibly two more academies in Asia next year or two.
He did not go into details about his Asia plans but it is clear he has global aspirations for his football academies. The 30-year-old has launched two football schools in London and Los Angeles.
