China's Olympic champion Liu Xiang won the men's 110-m hurdles event at
Lausanne's Super Grand Prix.
Liu and Terrence Trammel of the US both clocked 13.05 seconds to finish first and second respectively.
American Dominique Arnold finished third in 13.26 seconds. World champion Allen Johnson was forced to pull out of the race, due to a knee injury. Frencheman Ladji Doucoure, who won the title at the opening of the Golden League in Paris last week, was absent from the meet.
Liu now heads for Rome to compete in the second leg of the Golden League this Friday.
