How long is it gonna be? Probably? 大概需要多久啊？
当我们请人家办一件事时，最不希望在那里枯等。所以呢？最好的方式就是先问一下："How long is it gonna be?" (需要多久呢？) 有时候可以视情况在句尾加上 "Probably?" 就是请对方大概估算一下，不需太过精确。比方说你拿一台仪器去修理，就不妨顺便问一下："How long is it gonna be? Probably?" 大概需要多久时间？(注 gonna 是口语用法，也就等于 going to).
像这种「大概多久」的问法，也可以用到 approximately 这个字。比方说："Approximately how long will it take to arrive home?" (大概需要多久才到家呢？)

profit-wise“在利润方面”、
tax-wise“在税金方面”等，
其正统说法相当于"as far as ~ is concerned" "as for ~" 或 "with reference to ~"等。
此外"-wise"还可表达“如~一般的”或“顺着~方向的”的意思，如
likewise“同样的”、
stepwise“阶段性的”、

中国农历新年传统(Lunar New Year traditions)
 Do you know the reasons behind the traditions of Chinese New Year? Many people have forgotten that everything about Chinese New Year is symbolic and has a special meaning.
Many people used to like to see firecrackers go off at New Year, but do you know how this tradition first started? Nian, the Chinese New Year monster, is afraid of the noise and light made by firecrackers. Red is said to bring good luck, and that is why the 'hong bao' given to children are red. Another tradition using this color is when people decorate houses with red Spring Couplets; Chinese good-luck sayings written on red paper. The red Spring Couplets wish happiness, wealth and longevity. They are hung upside-down because, in Chinese, 'upside-down' sounds the same as 'arrive,' so all of these wishes will arrive at your house.
The Chinese word for fish sounds like the words 'abundance' and, as a tradition, some of the fish is left uneaten so there will be something left over in the next year. Traditional New Year cake, 'nian gao,' is the symbol of advancement, a sweet life and abundance. Golden dumplings, representing wealth and the coming of the New Year, are also eaten.
